Welcome Kindergarten families! My name is Ms. Nelson, and I am the Kindergarten ESOL teacher. I have worked for PGCPS for 14 years. I started as a classroom teacher and later transitioned to ESOL teacher. As a classroom teacher, I have taught first grade, second grade, fourth grade and fifth grade. As an ESOL teacher, I have worked with Kindergarten through Second Grade. I am a Nationally Board Certified Teacher in English as a New Language for students in early to middle childhood.
I look forward to working with your students this year. We are going to be doing some exciting things! Your children will get to work with IPAD3s in ESOL this year. We will be able to take pictures and make videos to share with you. I will be sending home a permission slip with your students soon.
